And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) Be a part of the national marketing team responsible for creating and delivering marketing strategies for Medicaid and Dual Special Needs Plans (DSNP). Marketing managers work directly with their assigned plans to help them reach member acquisition and retention goals each year. Strategies include but are not limited to national direct marketing and media campaigns as well as field marketing strategies and materials. Marketing managers must have deep knowledge of the business model supporting Medicaid outreach and DSNP sales as well as all initiatives taking place nationally. They will then collaborate with local plan leaders to suggest and implement strategies for each specific market. Primary Responsibilities:Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of own team May oversee work activities of other supervisors Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple groups of employees and / or customers (internal or external) Create new marketing strategies and support existing marketing strategies in assigned markets to meet sales and member acquisition goals Have knowledge of CMS and State requirements for marketing materials and sales activities and communicate that information to plan contacts / sales agents Maintain collaborative relationships with the national sales managers, plan leadership and field sales agents Equip outreach and sales staff with marketing materials Gain an understanding of the product, the community and the business plan for each of your assigned markets Suggest local media strategies as appropriate for markets and work with vendors to execute on those strategies once approved by plan leadership Provide reporting and understanding around local campaigns to national and plan leadership Have a basic understanding of the overall financial model and the specific marketing budget for each plan Help to promote best practices for national strategies in each of the plans you represent Manage the set - up and the delivery of all field marketing materials (which support grassroots efforts) via the toolkit; this includes updates for brand and for benefit / product changes each year
