Under general supervision, plans and executes product development, pricing, product support and/or promotional initiatives that support the organization's corporate marketing strategies.
Job Specific Information:
This position is part of a product management organization responsible for creating and managing technology products across FedEx.com, as well as desktop, mobile and integrated channels. This person will work closely with Marketing, FedEx operating companies, Regional, IT, Sales and Support teams to build and launch products that are market leading and meet business objectives. The product manager will be responsible for partnering with Marketing, FedEx OpCos, Regional partners, and IT to actively manage the online tools within the Online Shipping portfolio and to serve as a Subject Matter Expert on large corporate initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with key stakeholders to define and implement online product features needed to improve the customer experience.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their customer needs and incorporate feedback into product plan.
Conduct market and customer research to develop a product strategy and plan/road-map.
Partner with Customer Service, Marketing and Technical support to implement programs that increase customer product awareness and usage (capabilities and how to use tools) and decrease call volumes.
Measure and analyze product performance.
Represent the Online Shipping portfolio as a subject matter expert supporting high priority corporate projects and product enhancements across the entire Online Shipping portfolio (Shipping, Rates & Transit Time quotes, Pickup, Returns/Import, Integration Manager, and Locator).

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in marketing, communications or related business discipline.
Five (5) years’ work experience in marketing, sales, sales administration or related discipline.
Demonstrated knowledge of marketing disciplines and information analysis.
Experience in database marketing, telemarketing, promotions, pricing, and financial analysis.
Strong human relations, communication, organizational and analytical skills.
