Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)Primary Responsibilities: Oversee administration, design, and development of OptumRx Marketing Member Database in conjunction with vendor hostLead the marketing data integration architecture function, in conjunction with the Director of Marketing Data & ArchitectureCollaborate with other departments to prioritize database development needsUnderstand various Marketing performance metrics (ROI, Conversion, Attribution, etc.) in order to effectively understand business requirements and detail business constraints. Incorporate and translate those requirements into documented data solutionsWork with the Marketing Campaigns & Reporting team to develop a marketing data road map and implementations that coordinate with their processes and needsCoordinate with the Sr. Manager, Marketing Data Quality, to organize and warehouse data sources and create standards for data integrity, data population, and data accessibilitySuccessfully lead and / or engage in multiple initiatives and projects simultaneouslyOvercome technical and organizational challenges to collecting & exposing actionable dataCritically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, synthesize high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needsIntegrate data from various internal and external sources to provide information and insights to support the development of sound marketing strategies – examples include digital data, clinical data, claims data, and business dataWillingness to take on complex and volatile data challenges in a fast - paced environment serving marketing professionals who have a strong appetite for dataDemonstrated ability to achieve clearly defined outcomes and timelinesAbility to initiate and manage change and to collaborate in a team environmentStrong communicator, who is adept at communicating in a straight - forward way with business stakeholders AND technical resources (vendors and internal IT teams) about business needs and technical issuesA natural curiosity to ask questions and solve problems
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree (or higher) or High School Diploma / GED with 5+ years of Marketing / IT experience4+ years working in Analytics, Business Intelligence or Database DevelopmentExperience with Enterprise - level databases, data warehouses and relational database structuresExperience with project management skillsExperience working across IT, marketing and operations departmentsSQL experience and familiarity with other programming languages and toolsMicrosoft Excel skillsAssets:Experience with Enterprise - level and multi - system data analysisExperience interfacing with development and business teamsIBM Campaign (Unica) experienceExperience with marketing or business intelligence tools (examples: Domo, Tableau, Business Objects, PL SQL)Previous healthcare industry experienceSoft Skills:Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to multi - task and manage multiple strategies and projectsExcellent organizational skills and strong written / oral communication skillsCareers with Optum.
