Individual works directly with planning, scheduling, and marketing representatives of commercial service airlines and air charters, corporate users, air service consultants, professional airport organizations, marketing agencies, government representatives, business leaders, and the community.
Air Service Development: •Develop and maintain strong relationships with air carriers and air service consultants. •Develop marketing strategies for retention, upgrading, and acquisition of air service. Serves as liaison between airport and airline representatives. •Research, track and analyze data to identify target markets. •Prepare and present proposals to airlines. •Prepare and present data/reports for monthly Airport Authority Board Meetings.
Marketing: •Develop marketing strategies that promote the airport. •Manage the internal and external advertisement programs. •Develop and implement exciting social media strategies. Manages airports social networks.
Individual must have at minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or other related field. Three years of relevant work experience required, aviation industry experience preferred.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively, prepare clear and concise reports/presentations, and use good business vocabulary.
Experience with market research and data analysis preferred.
Employment is contingent upon completion of a federal 10-year background investigation and/or a background investigation by any law enforcement agency. Employee must have a valid driver’s license. Employee must maintain appropriate security status.
