·Category & Brand Marketing - Plot the course of our brand. Identify strategic creative marketing opportunities and develop integrated marketing campaigns. With a focus on innovative problem-solving to increase market share, write creative briefs, develop media plans, oversee project execution and manage budgets.
·Packaging - Packaging is how our products are merchandised, and includes both the creative and structural design. Work cross-functionally to address protection of goods, branding, presentation of features and benefits, theft-prevention and consistency.
·Marketing & Guest Engagement - Drive traffic and sales. Provide insight, and support direct marketing programs and strategic decision making. Use data analysis to customize our shopping experience in order to build immediate sales and long-term profitability.
·Marketing Creative - Like big ideas? The Target brand is in your hands. Concept and develop the look and feel of ad campaigns that communicate our value message across various media channels including television, print, in-store marketing, promotions, digital, and packaging. Responsible for setting the creative strategy and vision for both high level brand work and category campaigns. Develop and execute creative concepts and provide art direction and copy writing for campaigns, catalogs and digital projects.
·Interactive Marketing - Enhance and extend the Target brand online. You’ll help us leverage this powerful medium in new and exciting ways, deepening guest relationships through innovative technologies, marketing strategies and creative.
·Insights, Measurement & Analytics - Explore new business opportunities, strengthen existing business relationships, and apply consumer insight to our multi-channel marketing messages. You’ll analyze shopping behavior through focus group interviews and observation, then help the Strategy team to recommend changes regarding product mix, content, display and marketing.
· Media Strategy - Help develop and deploy impactful, insights-based multimedia strategies that extend and build the Target brand, efficiently accomplish our business objectives and resonate with our guests. Through data analysis, you’ll support direct marketing programs and align strategic and creative goals to drive sales.
·In-Store Marketing - Help create directional, branded and campaign signage that works together throughout our stores to create a cohesive, consistent store experience for our guests. In-Store Marketing (ISM) must consider Target brand print standards, store layout, key stakeholder relationships, creative, production and guest experience.
·Weekly Ad Creative & Print Production - The Weekly Ad creative team concepts, creates and executes Target’s weekly ad. Print production responsibilities include negotiating printing agreements, sourcing materials and selecting key vendors. Print production team members also utilize internal and external partners for production of the weekly ad, direct mail, catalogs, ads, out-of-home and various collateral for Marketing and non-Marketing Target teams.
·Public Relations - Collaborate with internal and external partners to creatively tell Target's story and build relationships with both traditional and social media. Advance Target’s strategies and reputation, building buzz and generating coverage for Target’s products, key initiatives and guest-centric approach.
