This position oversees and directs the execution of the marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives for Braum’s Inc. The Director will work closely with the Braum family and key executives to achieve the product awareness and retail goals of this family owned corporation.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for all major traditional media such as TV, radio, newspaper, outdoor and direct mail, as well as Braum’s efforts in digital, social and other nontraditional media
Creates, directs and supervises all communications with both internal and external customers
Create/supervise the creation of all products and materials for both internal and external Public Relations activities
Responsible for meeting budgetary guidelines and directing the investments for best results in meeting the company’s goals and expectations
Responsible for the performance of staff within the Marketing/Advertising department, as well as our in-house Print Shop
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to manage multiple tasks
Understand and able to practice “results communication”
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge and operation of both PC and Apple based computers
Experience operating Strata, the media management and buying software system
Familiar with peripheral software such as Acrobat, WinZip, DropBox, etc.
Experience managing others to accomplish goals and results
Bachelor’s degree with a focus on marketing, advertising or related field is a plus
5-10 years experience marketing/selling retail goods and products
5-10 years experience developing, scheduling and/or selling traditional media (TV, radio, print, outdoor, direct mail, promotions)
