Job Purpose The University Enrollment Marketing department at Towson University is accepting applications for a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will coordinate and execute marketing plans, tactics and strategies in support of undergraduate enrollment goals and plans that support university enrollment. Description Responsibilities include writing brand email, developing and executing social content and networking strategy, assist in the planning, posting and monitoring of digital advertising, developing third-party applications and Websites, developing and writing publications, coordinating student employees in the gathering of social content and viral video in support of brand identity. This position will execute the needs of advertising agencies and other third-party vendors who are completing specific projects in behalf of the department. Candidate will also assist in the development of summer semester marketing efforts and the planning and execution of TU4U all-campus event(s). Additional responsibilities include the coordination of photography and gathering viral film in conjunction with Creative Services, and cross-channeling these efforts using enrollment marketing social platforms. The incumbent must have the ability to develop and analyze data results into meaningful reports using a variety of sources including agency results, third party results, and others.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in a related field and one year of directly related experience. Ability to develop solid and effective working relationships with multiple departments. Excellent writing and content gathering skills required. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds required. Experience in website google analytics, Salesforce CRM & Salesforce Social Studio preferred. A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
