III is seeking to hire a Marketing & Communications Associate. In this role, you will primarily support digital marketing, social media, and content writing. Reporting to III's Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in telling the story of III, by leading, creating, and developing content for the website and social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedln, lnstagram, etc.).
Your core responsibilities will include:
Writing & Content Strategy
Develop news and marketing pieces to support admissions, corporate relations, alumni, and other topics as needed.
Maintain an editorial calendar to support website, anticipate content needs, and promote current marketing priorities.
Edit documents by reviewing content for completeness, accuracy and correctness of language use based on style guidelines and other standards.
Implement III social media strategy daily to increase dynamic engagement and interaction with various constituents.
Assist with planning and implementing campaigns for special events, conferences, and recruitment events.
Analyze trends to find new and exciting ways to tell III's story.
Work closely with Marketing Manager on cross-functional communications projects for the III within the University setting.
Interact with Integrated Innovation Institute director, faculty, staff and students to understand curriculum and goals of the III and degree programs to support development of key messages.
Help to cover III events and related news, supporting the production of videos and photography as needed.
Assist with marketing statistics, reports, and participates in regular planning meetings with Marketing Manager and Associate Director for III.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's in business, marketing, communications or a related field and 3-5 years of related experience
Excellent writing and editing skills are needed for the production of internal publications, marketing collateral and web content; portfolio of previous work strongly encouraged
Project management experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel; Adobe Creative Suites and Hannon Hill/Cascade Server or other web content management software
Ability to work with a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task: must be extremely organized and able to maintain accountability
Experience with interdisciplinary office settings and job functions
