This part-time internship position supports the Marketing and Communications department by providing marketing project coordination and support.
Assists with coordinating marketing events and programs; including, but not limited to, bank marketing peer groups and committees, Bank Perks program, member golf outing event, silent auction, and other programs.
Updates membership database records. Uses database to generate lists for distributing marketing and communications materials, including, but not limited to, membership dues mailings, directories, proceeding documents, and others.
Fulfills requests for website login access and newsletter subscriptions.
Prepare and distributes business cards, stationary and logoed and promotional items.
Assists with writing, editing, designing and proofing marketing communications materials.
Required Education: HS Diploma (GED); currently enrolled in a college degree program in the areas of public relations, communications or marketing.
Technology Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required; also prefer experience working with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Required Skills or Traits: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as verbal and written communication skills, general math skills, data entry skills and proofreading skills.
