Positions in this function are responsible for the strategic development of new business opportunities to existing and new customers through the creation of new modes of selling, new channels, and new market development. Positions identify, evaluate and manage new business opportunities and marketing initiatives. Includes lead generation and response management. Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise. Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others. Works exclusively within a specific knowledge area. Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines. Provides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise. Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work without direction. Team is spread across US and this role must be able to drive own activities and problem solve. Must possess strong communication and consultation skills, comfortable speaking with clients and teams to gather info, collaborate, and provide consultation and find creative solutions.Primary Responsibilities:Analyzes and investigatesProvides explanations and interpretations within area of expertiseUses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertiseInvestigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from othersWorks exclusively within a specific knowledge area Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlinesProvides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertiseAssesses and interprets customer needs and requirements Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analysesTranslates concepts into practiceImplement and manage marketing programs focusing on building awareness and customer engagementManage marketing communication projects to monitor / ensure proper implementation (e.g., role assignments, timelines / milestone, budget management, issue tracking, deliverables)Manage review / revision / approval processes to ensure achievement of communications and business goals / objectivesObtain review of communications content by internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable requirements (e.g., Legal, Clinical, Product, Compliance)Compile marketing program findings and share learning with the broader marketing organizationRepresent marketing and the consumer experience on cross functional teamDelivery of all marketing activity within agreed budgetWork with internal marketing and creative services to meet program objectivesApply internal and external communications standards established for the business (e.g., branding standards / guidelines, internal style guides, naming conventions, CAN-SPAM laws, legal review, AP style guides, communications industry standards, health literacy)Collaborate with applicable internal and external partners to design / implement communications format and contentExcellent relationship building / interpersonal skillsSolid oral, written and presentation communication skillsAbility to analyze and solve problems created and presented by the business environment, regulations, internal processes, and systems limitationsAbility to exercise independent judgment within established company guidelinesSolid time management skillsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceWorks well with others as part of a teamTravel up to 40% domestic / regional as needed
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED (or higher) 2+ years professional experience working on marketing campaigns including the following responsibilities: client facing gathering info and presenting materials, costing / budgeting, development of marketing campaign strategy, and campaign implementation Project coordination experience within a corporate environment coordinating multiple teams with constant deadlines and driving project processes Ability to travel up to 40% of the time (domestic) as neededPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Marketing or Business Experience with any of the following: Medicare marketing guidelines, ASANA.com, Salesforce.com, Medicare Advantage English is the primary language, but fluency in Spanish is a plus.
