The Marketing Content Manager assists in the development and implementation of marketing, recruitment and branding campaigns and message strategies for print, web and mobile initiatives. This position will be responsible for the creation of dynamic and engaging content that contributes to an overall inbound marketing strategy, selecting the right tone, style, structure and voice based on usage, space, strategy, media and brand considerations. The primary focus will be developing campaigns to recruiting students for CMU's online and satellite location programs.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, journalism or related field. Diverse writing and editing experience with demonstrated creative writing ability. Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in writing for the web. Exceptional grammar, spelling and proofreading skills. Demonstrated experience working with a team to develop and execute various components of an integrated marketing and advertising campaign. Ability to manage multiple projects and work with deadline pressure. Demonstrated written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Self-starter who works well with minimal direction.
