Information on the Department:
The award-winning marketing team at Lesley University spearheads a digital-first, content-centric strategy aimed at building the university's reputation and generating new enrollments and revenue. The team is comprised of 14 professionals with expertise in brand stewardship, creative strategy, content marketing, and digital.
The marketing associate provides general support for all marketing activities, including coordinating projects, updating web content, fulfilling requests, processing invoices, and other miscellaneous duties that enable the team to operate efficiently and effectively.
Coordinates routine projects, such as the production of event agendas, invitations, flyers, etc., gathering necessary information, communicating schedules and deadlines, and working with team members and stakeholders to ensure accurate and on-time delivery.
Monitors requests for review from web editors in the content management system (CMS), as well as web requests from other stakeholders, implementing basic updates and routing others to the appropriate team member(s) for review and approval.
Triages requests for other marketing-related support from various university stakeholders. Gathers information and asks questions in order to assess priority and determine if/how to accommodate. Collaborates with other team members to fulfill requests, as appropriate.
Participates as an active member of the marketing team, contributing ideas, providing insights, and sharing alternative perspectives as projects and campaigns take shape.
Proofreads various content and collateral, ensuring information is accurate and up to date, as well as compliant with university style guidelines.
Processes invoices, validating accuracy and documenting for our records.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business management, or a related field.
Experience working in an office or similar professional environment
Proficiency in using with Microsoft Office Suite of software; experience using a CMS, such as Word Press or Drupal, is preferred.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
The demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; if you hold a visa, your visa status must allow you to work at Lesley University.
Salary Grade 23N: $22.51 per hour to $26.79 per hour
This is a part-time position; 17.5 hours per week.
