The role holder is responsible for delivering marketing communications support to the business, ensuring that the portfolio managers and investment strategies are appropriately positioned by the business target markets in EMEA. The individual will ensure that marketing communications are in place for priority funds (focus funds and new fund launches) list and that all roadshow and events engagement is appropriately managed.
They will also ensure that the businesses delivery across the marketing function is of appropriate quality and delivered to our SLAs (across RFP/Presentations/investment content, marketing communications, events and press).
The role holder will be responsible for communicating to portfolio managers and sales and marketing team around priorities based on revenue goals and retention objectives, as well as supporting new product launches and regularly communicating relevant updates on changes within the business. The role holder will manage projects between departments and will proactively identify issues and take the lead in coordinating satisfactory resolution.
Co-ordinate activity at -sponsored events and roadshows, including presentation packs and other related sales material.
Monitor activities to ensure resources are used effectively
Take the lead on marketing communications initiatives to support the business, such as for product campaigns or PR, co-ordinating activity across the businesses broader marketing team, working closely with the business development team
Supporting the achievement of the businesses business objectives with expansion into new markets/launching new products via a variety of platforms
Maintain a range of corporate and product literature, ensuring that content is appropriate, current, up to date and consistent with other communications
Support project activity, including fund launches/changes and regulatory changes
Provide relevant management reporting to summarise activity, impact and recommendations to increase impact
Actively identify issues between teams when they arise to seek swift resolution e.g. delays in delivery etc.
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
Strong writing skills to support the development of marketing and investment communications programmes in order to strengthen positioning of the business
Investment management experience and investment knowledge
