The purpose of this position is to be a key component of the Airport Administration team through assisting the Airport Director in all facets of developing, implementing and monitoring marketing initiatives, communications activities, community outreach and air service development for the La Crosse Regional Airport. The ideal candidate will be a self starter who works well in a team environment and posses the knowledge, skills, and abilities to lead strategic marketing initiatives and to provide analytical interpretation of key marketing metrics. The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for managing the Airport marketing budget, proposing marketing strategy and initiatives, placing advertising, overseeing the internal advertising placement, analyzing key marketing metrics, and ensuring a second to none customer service program. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Airport Management, Business or Public Administration, with 3 to 5 years of marketing experience or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have effective public relations and communication skills, effective strategic visioning skills and must demonstrate proficient computer skills, including graphic design software, databases and spreadsheets. Valid driver’s license required. Analytical skills are highly desired.
Starting wage for this Exempt position is $67,331.66 - $77,113.16 annually. Top pay of this position is $88,315.64.
