Develop, coordinate and execute marketing strategies for AAMI products, the standards program, annual conference, educational events (in-person courses & webinars), AAMI Foundation and membership engagement.
Serve as AAMI’s brand manager—ensuring consistency of message, championing of the brand internally and brand alignment of all product and organization marketing efforts.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to write crisp copy and develop clear and relevant messaging across all marketing channels.
Develop timelines and work plans to ensure marketing efforts support internal business unit goals/objectives stay on track and meet or exceed revenue targets.
Maintain editorial upkeep of the online AAMI Store and serve as primary point of contact.
Design and execute market research—leveraging available data to identify trends, determining customer satisfaction and needs, and continually evaluating marketing strategies to encourage innovation and measure effectiveness.
Lead and develop strategy for reporting, testing, analyzing, and forecasting for all marketing channels.
Coordinate, format, and send all marketing emails.
Provide oversight to the maintenance and organization of AAMI’s mailing lists. Ensure accuracy of data and proper use of lists.
Desired Qualifications and Requirements for the Position Include:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
Minimum four years’ experience managing marketing and advertising programs. Prior experience in nonprofit and/or healthcare field a plus.
Strong writing and editing skills are essential: to include promotional copy, web and email content, and targeted messaging.
High level of teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience and knowledge of Google Adwords and Google Analytics.
Experience working with the association management system, IMIS, and the integrated email exchange, Informz, and a working knowledge of the advanced features associated to campaign management, segmentation, and list management.
Basic HTML understanding and website management experience.
Proficiency in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.).
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
