Under the direction of the Marketing Director, and direct supervision of the Marketing Manager, responsible for coordinating special events, including creative promotional materials, media schedules, editorial/event calendars, and marketing communications. Responsible for creating communications to promote specific Boys Town Hospital programs and events, including newsletters, emails, brochures, flyers and social media content. Write editorial for internal and external publications, newsletters and web sites. Assist in the development of marketing plans and budgets.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
Bachelor's degree required, with emphasis in Communications, Journalism or Related field, preferred
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience handling special events, preferred
Excellent written and verbal skills
Experience using social media as a marketing platform
Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able to work weekends as needed for special events
Conference/Tradeshow experience is a plus
