Responsible for: This position collaborates with the Sales & Marketing team to develop and implement marketing initiatives that engage our target market compeling them to act. The successful candidate will be analytical and data-driven with respect to tracking and measuring the effectiveness of content themes and mediums, while applying a creative eye for style and detail.
Key Accountabilities & Duties: Broad Scope
Initiate and manage the content lifecycle from ideation to publishing to analysis for pre-sales initiatives as well as ongoing education and engagement with current clients
Maintain content roadmap and publishing schedule
Create, build, and drive influencer marketing engagement and network development
Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to curate content strategies for a large number of assets including: product updates, case studies, website content, press releases, white papers, videos, and more
Own the accuracy and editorial consistency of brand messaging across all mediums
Provide reporting and analysis for departmental and executive review

External Contacts: Shall maintain necessary job related external contacts to assure satisfactory results.
EDUCATION – Bachelors’ degree (preferably in a relevant field) or equivalent experience required.
EXPERIENCE – 2-3 years’ experience in content marketing required. Experience in an energy related field a plus. Demonstrated experience producing assets that are relevant and appropriate for technical and non-technical target personas. Experience with the Salesforce marketing technology a plus.
KNOWLEDGE - Must have excellent command of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Proven success in managing content initiatives that drive interest and convert prospects into customers. Capacity to critically edit collateral while maintaining high QA/QC standards. Ability to work in multiple cross-functional groups as well as independently and autonomously. Advanced presentation and written communication skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Comfortable cold-calling as needed for discovery purposes. Must have command of Excel, PowerPoint. Should possess working knowledge of principles and processes for providing member/customer and personal services. This includes member/customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of member/customer satisfaction.

Must possess exceptional ability to communicate in both verbal and written form.
WORKING CONDITIONS – Normal working conditions and hours of 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Some irregular working hours for special meetings or circumstances may be required. Must be available for work during adverse weather conditions.
WORK REQUIREMENTS – Must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license with a good driving record. All employees assigned to headquarters or non-direct operational positions must make their domicile within one of the nineteen counties served by the Cooperative.
