National University is looking for part time faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in International/Global Business. The courses include survey of international business, global business, comparative international management, international strategy, international entrepreneurship, International Marketing and others. Candidates with experience teaching adult learners, experience teaching online, knowledge of experiential methodology/pedagogy, and experience with the use of technology in the classroom are preferred.
Essential Job Duties;
Design an effective classroom experience that promotes learning of course/program learning outcomes appropriate to adult learners.
Grade assignments/assessments and provide feedback to students in a timely fashion.
Provide professional and thoughtful feedback to students’ questions and concerns.
Execute teaching with a strong emphasis on student-centered learning and experiential methodology.
Collaborate with other University departments to ensure a positive overall experience for all University students.
Be familiar with and support University policies and Part Time Faculty Policies.
Additional Job Duties (include but are not limited to):
Proficiency in common internet tools, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and email. Prior knowledge of Blackboard Learning Management System preferred.
Must be willing to learn and become competent in technology learning management platforms for course delivery (e.g. Blackboard).
Must be proficient in English language
Must be eligible to work in the United States
A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited university with significant practical experience in the field of International/Global Business is required. D. or Doctorate in International/Global Business degree from a regionally accredited university is preferred.
Professional experience related to International/Global Business in an organizational setting is preferred.
Multiple years’ experience with teaching adult learners in a variety of delivery formats.
Consulting experience in International/Global Business or related field.
