Ascension Health and St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN has retained Witt/Kieffer to assist in the recruitment of an innovative Chief Communications and Marketing Officer (CCMO) for the Indiana Market to provide leadership and direction in creating branding, marketing, public relations, internal communications and digital communications strategies and programs that advance Ministry goals. St. Vincent encompasses 20 hospitals and numerous non-acute care services across central and southern Indiana. Ascension Health is the largest Catholic healthcare system in the country with 140 hospitals across 24 states.
Reporting to the St. Vincent Health Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the senior executive team of St. Vincent Health, the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer is a strategic communicator who works across Ministry Markets to ensure that communication and marketing considerations are integrated into the business decision-making process at all organizational levels. This executive will serve as an ambassador for Ascension and its Indiana Ministry Market, maintaining high visibility with leadership and staff and an equal visibility among key external audiences.
Candidates will be accomplished marketing executives who are results-driven, have a deep focus on analytics and the use of metrics, are experienced in brand-building, and the development and execution of strategic marketing plans which span traditional, digital and new media sources. She/he will have a strong consumer orientation and the ability to fuse analytics with strategic creativity. Comfort with working in a matrix environment is critical to success.
