Houston Christian High School (HC) is accepting applications from qualified candidates for Marketing and Communications Associate. The Marketing and Communications Associate is responsible for providing support and assisting with the marketing, promotions and public relations activities outlined in the strategic marketing plan. The Marketing and Communications Associate works in close collaboration with the Advancement team and reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications. This is a full-time, exempt position to begin immediately.
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or Marketing
A minimum of six years experience working in a fast paced marketing and communications role
Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Keynote
Excellent writing and editing skills
Experience working with web and social media marketing
Experienced, Christian professional with desire to support HC mission.
The Marketing and Communications Associate has oversight of HC’s website content, implements the social media tiered communications program, coordinates outsourcing for the department and provides support for the Director. This position requires critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines. A high level of integrity, diplomacy and regard for confidentiality are important for this role. The successful candidate will be a Christian leader with a commitment to the mission and vision of Houston Christian and its academic goals and will be passionate about the continuous development of excellence in Christian education.
