NAHB is seeking an Account Sales Representative to help sell exhibit space in the nation’s largest residential construction industry tradeshow, the NAHB International Builders’ Show(IBS).
The ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills. Primary work activities include phone and email communications with major manufacturers, leading suppliers and service providers in the residential home building industry. Responsibilities may also include selling exhibit space for other NAHB expositions.
A minimum of three to five years of experience in sales, telemarketing and customer service experience is required. Exhibit or sponsorship sales and trade show management experience is a plus. Candidates should be proficient in database and/or sales information management software and the MS Office suite. A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business administration, marketing, communications or a related field, or equivalent combination of related training and experience. Verbal and written knowledge of the Spanish language is required. Some travel is also required.
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) helps its members build communities.
