We are seeking a Global Technical Marketing Manager to join our Human Nutrition Technical Department. The Human Nutrition Technical Department in North America exists to support the business disciplines of Sales, Product Management and Marketing as well as customers' technical needs, and to provide technical support and leadership for projects to develop new products, processes and customer applications. It serves customers by answering their inquiries and disseminating technical support information to them. It develops technical information to support customers' needs and projects. Globally the Technical Marketing Manager provides comprehensive, technically oriented product line support to all regions.
Global Technical Marketing Manager (1700344)
You will work collaboratively with Global Sales, Marketing and Product Managers. Additional responsibilities include: alignment with Regional Technical Application Scientists to develop solutions and demonstrate the high value of our products. Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical information and support are key to success.
Formula for Success: You Will
Provide first point-of-contact for all regions and functions (e.g., regulatory, quality management, master data, operations) relating products and technology for the product lines Sterols, Natural Vitamin E and CLA
Provide technical support for regional sales and marketing teams to support business development (e.g., formulation support)
Provide technical service for all regions (e.g., NCM handling, answering of customer requests)
Support procurement and tolling activities (e.g., qualifications, approvals of raw materials, toller search and selection, technical support for co-manufacturers)
Provide decision competency on final technical specifications
Drive technical product development and improvement and supports R&D (e.g., definition of technical specifications, support of innovation management, training of sales and marketing managers)
Optimize global product portfolio by supporting Global Product Management on technical questions
Administer global product portfolio (e.g., technical product registration, MSDS, technical data sheets)
Participate in and steer customer projects mainly for established products, regarding quality assessment and smaller product variations
Determine and adjust product specifications and their position versus competitors (e.g., development of benchmarks and insights regarding technical differentiation, USPs)
Manage effective and safe operation of general laboratory instrumentation

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field is required with an advanced degree, preferred
10+ years' experience with extensive background in nutrition & health or pharmaceutical markets
GMP or quality know-how (ideally pharma or food background)
Highly motivated and ambitious work ethic with a positive, optimistic and winning attitude combined with an academic and intellectual thinker
Demonstrated ability to be a valuable team contributor
High level of problem solving capabilities
