The Director, Public Relations & Marketing assists the Director of Development in planning and implementing fund raising and public relations activities that will enable the Volunteers of America Colorado Branch to achieve the agency fund raising goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations and fund raising preferably in a non-profit organization. WYSIWYG editor experience a must; some knowledge of basic HTML preferred. Strong organizational and computer skills. Demonstrated experience in position of webmaster (using CMS, Databases, email marketing software). Must be skilled in all aspects of social media content. Expert in the Adobe Creative Suite. Proven ability to set and achieve aggressive goals and effectively work with staff, volunteers and the media. Poise and presence and a proven ability to work and interact with business and media executives and volunteers as an official representative of the Volunteers of America Colorado Branch.
SALARY: $27.36 per hour (Exempt)
