The Intercollegiate Athletics Department is seeking hard working, responsible, motivated candidates for an entry-level, associate position supporting the Athletics Marketing operations. This position will receive exposure to professional aspects of collegiate athletics marketing and promotions activities such as overseeing marketing, promotions and game day events for softball and assisting with volleyball or women’s basketball marketing; developing and implementing marketing plans, and gameday promotions and operations; overseeing social media efforts for the main athletics Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat accounts; assisting with Football game day marketing operations; hiring and supervising a staff of student interns; helping with special events and other related duties. This position will perform all duties in adherence with NCAA, Big 12, and university policies.
The successful candidate must possess strong creativity, time management, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to multi-task and manage projects with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree by position start date. Experience must include work with marketing or promotions for a sports program.
Experience working in marketing for a collegiate, professional or minor league athletics program.
Experience using social media for work projects.
Degree in marketing, communications or a related field of study.

Additional Salary Information: Salary is $1,600/month. Overtime eligible. Full benefits package.
