The primary role of this non-exempt position is to support tactical digital and print production requests from concept through completion. This position coordinates with several departments and locations to organize and implement the creative changes to digital and print graphic design and production services including invitations, alerts, announcements, newsletters, sponsorship ads, flyers and PowerPoint presentations, and executes production processes as needed. This position supports the production process by making changes to existing materials using the Adobe Suite and the firm’s website platform as needed.
Essential Duties - Organize and ensure the completion of the Marketing Communications ongoing tactical project requests. - Manage project reporting and tracking through project management systems. - Provide creative support to tactical digital and print marketing products. - Support the creation of sponsorship print ads using existing sponsorship ad templates. - Support the creation of electronic invitations using existing invitation templates. - Implement minor editorial changes to content on marketing materials and the website. - Under the guidance of the Director of Marketing Communications, proactively review existing materials for relevance and to remain current. - Provide and maintain a library of available marketing collateral on the firm’s portal. - Proofread digital and production materials as needed. - Provide basic html support for tightening layouts, editing files, layer structure and organization. - Support the creation and editing of presentation materials. - Ensure brand integrity by following the firm brand and style guide standards. Support the daily use of the brand by managing event gift item logo placement, submitting of logos and photos to organizations. - Maintain digital templates for reusable creative pieces such as invitations and newsletters. - Identify and maintain process checklists and guidelines for Marketing Communications activities.
Knowledge/Experience: Project management and project tracking experience, specifically with large volume creative and functional projects. Experience adhering and referring to a recognized style guide. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat. Preferred experience in Atlassian JIRA Project Tracking Software and email campaign software Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite. Minimum three years’ experience in a marketing coordination role. Professional services marketing experience preferred.
Skills: The position requires design skills, project coordination skills, and knowledge of print and digital production. It requires strong communication and customer service capabilities. The ability to coordinate multiple projects and handle tight deadlines is imperative. Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively. Ability to edit basic copy. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent interpersonal relations, oral and written communication skills required. Must be self-motivated and independent; able to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to prioritize, organize, and meet tight deadlines.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Marketing or Communications.
Reporting Relationship: The Marketing Project Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Marketing Communications.
