The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the largest trade association in the nation, is seeking a Marketing Manager to play a lead role in planning and communicating NAR benefits, programs and initiatives to its members. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with other NAR divisions, including ITS, to deliver content for NAR's online Member Center in a creative and informative format for the Web, iPhone/iPad and Android apps. Additionally, this position will work as part of the marketing team to represent NAR at industry events and conventions. The Marketing Manager serves as marketing manager for large association-wide initiatives and in-house consultant to other divisions and outside partner companies to develop and implement marketing and communication plans.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT ALL-INCLUSIVE):
Oversees all aspects of the Member Center, including - coordinating content/data, the content management system, membership card distribution and promotions.
Collaborates with NAR staff on marketing plans to include ad/ copy placement and other promotional opportunities about select member benefits, including REALTOR Benefits program partner offers.
Collaborates with marketing team, other NAR staff and outside vendors to create and implement marketing strategies and trade show booth theme to represent NAR at industry events and conventions.
Writes and manages marketing and communications plans, then distributes messaging throughout designated channels; may include digital marketing, video, direct mail and social media.
Inform and educate members on all areas of NAR.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred with association experience and 5-7 years of related experience.
Ideal candidate will be a highly creative and proactive individual with strong project management skills and the ability to plan and execute projects from beginning to resolution. Ability to travel to 4-5 tradeshows per year. Must be skilled in multi-tasking, time management, organization, developing relationships, making decisions and be comfortable having technical conversations about how NAR systems interact with each other and with the Member Center CMS. In this highly visible position, manager must be collaborative and work as part of a team.
