About Sound View
The Sound View (and the North Fork in general) has years of solid history catering to special events. With our new food and beverage operation, our re-designed rooms and spaces, and the new attention on the North Fork as an “in” destination - the right Group Sales Manager is well placed to both harness the existing wedding/party momentum and develop the first corporate and wellness retreat of the North Fork.
The Sound View features 55 waterfront rooms, an innovative new restaurant and catering operation, meeting and wellness facilities, a private beach and outdoor pool area, and a wealth of nearby experiences offered by its partners which include wineries, farms, the picturesque town of Greenport, and many activities (cycling, fishing, boating, golf, yoga, etc).
Our guest rooms are each a portal to the sound, opening on to the private beach. With a pared down palette balanced by rich and durable textiles, our overnight accommodations are a contemporary interpretation of the modernist beach-side bungalows that once littered the east coast.
Our restaurant will use fresh ingredients provided by the North Fork and the Atlantic seaboard, serving well-seasoned interpretations of American “retro” classics and New England-Style offerings. With an informal maritime setting throughout the main restaurant and outdoor deck, the accompanying private dining room and library offers unobstructed views of the sea, and the lively piano bar showcases old world charm.
An additional casual lounge in the lobby, and pool with snack shack and bar on the Sound View’s private beach round out our truly unique space and offerings.
