Working directly with the Arts and Sciences Chief Communications Officer and the Assistant Dean for Strategic Recruitment and Diversity, the Recruitment Marketing Manager will develop, implement and maintain recruitment marketing strategies and activities to promote, expand and advance recruitment and diversity services and initiatives in the College of Arts and Sciences. Works collaboratively with a number of departments and administrative units in the college and throughout the university (e.g., admissions, development, alumni relations, student affairs, and academic affairs, etc.) This individual will develop and execute strategies to attract prospective students and parents, engage alumni, parents and friends and communicate with the campus community. In addition, the Recruitment Marketing Manager will oversee a number of social and digital media initiatives, provide and compel marketing copy for e-campaigns, marketing materials, website and social media platforms in collaboration with ASC Communications Services.
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or Communications required, or equivalent combination of education and experience; excellent oral and written communication skills; familiarly with university student recruitment; proven experience in marketing or strategic communication; sensitivity and commitment to issues of diversity in higher education; strong organizations, multi-tasking and time management skills; interpersonal and team work skills; ability to interact with a variety of university constituencies (students, faculty, staff alumni); experience with social media and digital communications (common social media networks, content management systems, e-newsletters, MailChimp or Constant Contact, basic graphic design skills, Adobe Creative Suite); working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Target Salary: $47,476.00 - $54,000.00 Annually
