The College of Business and Sport Professions is currently accepting applications for a Chairperson of the Marketing Dept. at the Assistant/Associate Professor level beginning with the Fall Term of 2017. The NGU Marketing Degree Program is accredited by S.A.C.S. (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools). This is a nine-month, full-time position. Starting salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Teaching: Teach undergraduate courses in marketing, such as Marketing Management Information Systems, Sales Management, Brand Management, Consumer Behavior, Principles of Marketing Research, Marketing for Tourism and Hospitality, Marketing Communications and First Year Experience. The position also includes supervision of the Marketing Internship Program.
Scholarship: Scholarly publications, professional presentations, and grant procurement are desired professional activities.
Service: Provide service to the department, College, and university committees; professional organizations and the Greenville County community.
Administration: Assist with on-going program development; participate in student recruitment and retention; provide academic advising; provide co-leadership for student professional organizations and assist with alumni development.

An earned Doctoral Degree in Marketing or Business Administration with a minimum of eighteen credits in graduate level marketing courses. ABD’s will be considered if the dissertation is in process. A doctorate is ultimately required.
