The University Enrollment Marketing department at Towson University is accepting applications for a marketing manager to coordinate and execute marketing efforts in support of university enrollment.
Coordinate and execute marketing plans, tactics and strategies in support of enrollment marketing plans and goals, including writing high-quality HTML email, executing social networking writing and strategy, planning, posting and monitoring digital advertising, editing web pages, developing print publications, and others as needed; coordinate and execute plans for on- and off-campus recruitment events to prospective and admitted students; coordinate photography and video shoots in conjunction with a team of Electronic Media and Film students and the Creative Services department; develop and analyze data into meaningful reports using a variety of sources and software (such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, Facebook, YouTube, etc.); execute the needs of advertising agencies, completing campaigns or other third-party work on behalf of the department; and perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of one year marketing experience preferably in higher education. The selected candidate must have the proven ability to execute basic marketing plans to reach the desired target audience using multiple channels of communication, including HTML email, social media marketing, website, event, and print marketing. Experience in marketing analytical tools such as Google Analytics, social media metrics, etc.Proof of excellent writing skills required. Candidate must be able to lift and move boxes, supplies and signs for events up to fifty pounds. A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
Preferred: Experience with Salesforce or CRM software, video production, and experience working with third-party partners.
