The Director of Marketing is a member of the executive team and responsible for leading all of the organization’s marketing efforts. The role is essential for developing and executing all marketing channels related to membership campaigns, programs, member benefits, branding, publications & publicity including internal and external strategic message development.
Develop and manage corporate brand identity, membership recruitment marketing, public relations, email marketing and editorial content.
Responsible for the strategy and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns and communications that support the NSCS brand across all markets and lines of business, internally and externally to grow revenue.
Strategize and lead change to a more digitally focused and data driven recruitment campaign.
Use data, market research and predictive modeling to drive planning and execution of marketing and PR programs; evaluate campaign performance to drive future strategies and manage programs to budget for improved efficiency to enhance the overall member experience.
Support NSCS’s mission and brand by providing expertise and counseling on all marketing and communications by being responsible for reviewing, editing and drafting messages, press releases, presentations, statements and any other materials, documents or communications, internal or external as may be needed.
Create and ensure consistent and relevant membership value proposition messaging across the organization.
Oversee development, maintenance and content strategy for NSCS website and member portal.
Lead, motivate and supervise Marketing/Membership Recruitment staff to yield maximum results.
Seven plus years’ marketing leadership experience creating and executing across a range of channels, with specific experience in marketing and PR.
The ability to think strategically but act resourcefully to optimize opportunities to develop and drive brand strategy, thought leadership and member success stories in a consistent, compelling narrative across multiple channels.
Broad experience developing metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns.
Strong leadership and management skills to effectively manage the Marketing/Membership Recruitment Department, develop a highly effective and efficient team while maintaining a climate that attracts, retains and motivates top quality staff.
Ability to implement change.
Experience with complex email and marketing programs including IBM Marketing Cloud, Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar programs preferred.
Salesforce experience is preferred.
