Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois (US-IL) - Moline Function: Communication Title: Visual Brand Manager - 27454
As a Visual Brand Manager, you will develop and direct visual solutions for Construction & Forestry communications, including advertising, direct mail, dealer magazines, product literature, point-of-purchase materials, trade shows, electronic presentations, video, and web, and visual guidelines/systems in order to enhance the brand image in the marketplace. In addition, you will:
•Manage the work of outside agencies and design firms in the creation of all the above marketing communications to ensure high quality and consistent visual expressions of the brand
•Work with MarCom Managers in creating communications for internal clients, such as the Corporate Business Division, Rental Marketing, Government Sales, etc., thus developing visual solutions that support the brand experience with their customers and prospects
•Serve in a creative capacity with employees of Deere & Company Corporate Communications and work with the Corporate Brand Management Department to develop, administer, and evolve brand and trademark usage guidelines for a consistent image
•Create, develop, and direct visual expression of the brand in our division's products, while working with the C&F Industrial Design Team and Industrial Design Language to implement those innovative design solutions in a consistent manner
•Work with our dealers to create, develop and manage implementation of marketing communications, retail facilities, and the dealer brand image in order to maintain a high-quality, John Deere, customer experience at our dealerships
•Work with Deere & Company's Licensing Department to manage the creation, development, and implementation of high-quality and innovative expressions of the John Deere brand in C&F's outsourced merchandise

What Skills You Need
•8+ years of design experience in an advertising agency, design studio or another corporate creative communications department
•4+ years of experience with brand management/Brand ID Systems, including the development and implementation of strategic design solutions, guidelines, and processes
•2+ years of experience directing internal or external designers (direct reports, agency designers, freelancers) to develop original campaigns and concepts
•2+ years of experience setting the strategy and thought-process for design and branding work; as well as pitching and securing support for creative concepts and design decisions
•A portfolio showcasing a wide variety of both personally designed and directed work of exceptional quality
•Mastery of marketing communication design and brand management principles
•Graphic design expertise with both print and digital media
•Strong art direction skills for both still photography and video
•Strong communication skills, both visual and oral
•Expert proficiency in Mac software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
•Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 10%
What Makes You Stand Out
•Experience with both agency/studio and corporate communications
•Industrial design experience
•Bachelor's degree in Commercial Art or Graphic Design, or equivalent experience
