Description Manager, Digital Marketing Works closely with marketing director and managers to optimize effectiveness of digital marketing efforts—e.g., external website, SEO, digital advertising and email marketing—as well as traditional direct response and advertising campaigns that drive to a website or a landing page. Ensures that external website is optimized for the purposes of attracting, engaging and converting prospective students for all programs. · Develops and oversees website maintenance and audit protocol · Measures and seeks to improve website SEO · Provides reports that provide insight into site performance and UX · Drives improvements and enhancements that improve website performance · Provides training and tools to decentralized content owners · Serves as point person to external agencies – web, ad, SEO – on behalf of marketing team · Maintains a current site map as well as all URLs and redirected links Ensures that external website and mission critical databases and microsites are performing as expected. · Triages support requests and escalates high priority needs to IT and WebComm, as needed · Serves as liaison with Owen IT with University Webcomm to ensure timely support · Serves as technical advisor to the Owen Community on external website and mission critical databases and microsites Oversees operational and technical aspects of marketing initiatives in order to efficiently capture and process leads and track performance. · Oversees operational logistics of automated email commflow strategies · Creates and manages campaign landing pages for lead capture, processing and tracking · Manages Google Tag Manager to ensure campaign-specific performance reports Gathers and analyzes metrics in order to report on the success of marketing efforts and identify opportunities for improvement. · Reports on paid campaign and lead generation efforts across all platforms—Google Analytics, Slate, other systems · Establishes regular reports that satisfy needs of marketing department and agencies · Provides adhoc reports and analysis as requested Stays abreast of competitors, trends and technology on behalf of department. · Seeks to keep school on forefront of digital trends and consumer techniques · Conducts digital competitive analyses as requested · Seeks out and recommend new features, functionality and digital platforms Qualifications · BA/BS plus 3+ years of relevant work experience with digital marketing. An MBA a plus. · Proficient in learning and managing digital platforms and systems. Certification or experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, Slate a plus . · Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Microsoft Excel) and experience with reporting and data analysis. · Excellent communicator, good presentation skills, strong team player · Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment · Ability to tolerate (and make forward progress amidst) ambiguity
