DUTIES:Reporting to the Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer-Chief Operating Officer, the Marketing Director will be responsible for planning, development and implementation of all UHB's marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services for chapters in the area of marketing, communications and public relations. Directs the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization. Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing direct marketing and public relations activities for the hospital to extend and increase use of the hospital facilities. Develop long-term marketing objections for the hospital and planning campaigns and programs to meet such goals. Research and evaluating a variety of trends and parameters of hospital usage, service utilization, community needs and physician preferences consistent communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external. Prepare presentations to explain the marketing program of the hospital. Develop and recommend marketing budgets. Ensure the Organization's philosophy, mission and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the organization. Formulate and administer policies to ensure the integrity of the Organization. Design, support and oversee cross-functional teams throughout the Organization. Graduate degree in a related field is desirable. Minimum of 5 years experience with emphasis in Healthcare Marketing/Public Relations. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational skills. Experience developing/managing budgets, overseeing the design/production of materials, computer literacy in program applications, database management/page layout.
