The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (Division I) is seeking a Marketing & Stewardship Graduate Assistant. The candidate will have the opportunity to play a vital role in the production of the women’s and men’s basketball seasons and assist with donor stewardship of the Trojan Athletic Association (TAA). The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of the program, including (but not limited to) women’s/men’s basketball game-day production, on-court promotions, women’s/men’s basketball marketing plan, game-day event set-up, and game-day set-up and preparation for all Little Rock Athletic home events. This position will assist the development staff with TAA marketing and brand recognition as well as the stewardship of TAA donors. The successful candidate will also assist with the planning, organizing, and coordinating of all Little Rock Athletics fundraising events for all sports and other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for External Operations, as well as cross-training in our OvationTix ticketing system. Opportunity to gain experience in game –day management, marketing, ticketing, sales and promotions, fundraising events, and donor stewardship.
A bachelor’s degree in sports management, marketing, or a related field is required; 1-2 undergraduate semesters of collegiate sports marketing/administration experience preferred; strong written and verbal communication skills; Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5 p.m. Ability to work nights and weekends as well as some holidays.
