Instructor, Visiting Professor, or Teaching Professor (open rank) Bloch School of Management
The Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is seeking applications for non-tenure track faculty positions from outstanding candidates with expertise in the following areas: Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics. Non-tenure track roles include: Instructor, Visiting Professor (open rank) or or ranked non-tenure track Teaching Professor. Candidates are required to have a) a Master's or a JD with significant coursework related to the teaching discipline and significant and relevant industry experience; or b) a PhD in business or a related discipline with significant course relevant to expected teaching responsibilities (consideration will also be given to doctoral candidates with ABD status). The desired start date is Fall 2019 or Spring 2020. These are full-time positions with benefits
Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses using traditional and online modalities. Maintain AACSB faculty qualifications through, as appropriate, scholarly research, applied research, and/or industry engagement. Support the school's mission through internal and external service.
The Bloch School enrolls over 1700 undergraduate and graduate students and also offers extensive non-credit programming through executive and continuing education. The Bloch School has over 60 full-time faculty and also partners with a talented group of adjunct faculty, many of whom who are in leadership roles at organizations in the region. The school is committed to providing outstanding educational experiences for a broad range of students. We serve professionals and executives who are focusing on further developing their capabilities while fully engaged in a demanding career. Full Time/Part Time
This is a 9 month full-time, benefit eligible position.
Salary is commensurate upon experience.
