The Marketing Director is responsible for achieving service line growth in alignment with the strategic business plan. Position rounds on members of the medical staff on a routine basis monitoring external and internal obstacles to business growth and retention. Position works with Administration to continually develop service lines that meet physician and consumer demands via leadership with the CEO of Volume Growth Team meetings. Performs market analysis of primary and secondary service area to aid in creating campaigns to promote specialized services to targeted market. The goal of each program will be to promote hospital services and to continue to improve community relations and increase awareness.
5+ years experience in marketing, hospital setting preferred.
Experience in gathering, analyzing and evaluating data. Ability to use findings to identify problems, determine alternatives and recommend solutions.
Ability to understand individual input from members of the medical staff.
Requires speaking in front of large number of people with differing agendas and backgrounds.
Requires sensitivity to special culture of rural, small-town environment.
Ability to interact with hospital personnel, physicians, medical office staff and business.
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
